Leopoldo Nascia is a researcher for Sbilanciamoci, a progressive organisation of economists and researchers to rethink the tools and the agenda of the economic policy in the globalised economy and to solve the imbalances in the global distribution of wealth and income.
He was a researcher in the National Institute of Statistics for 18 years and has extensive experience in international research programmes.
He is co-author of Research and Innovation Country Reports: Italy (2012) published by the JRC-European Commission. In 2016, together with M. Pianta and M. Lucchese, he published an essay about a new outlook for the industrial policy, The making of a new industrial policy in Europe.
Leopoldo Nascia is active in research on economic growth, innovation, R&D, industrial policy, inequality and public expenditure.
